Location

The North Bay Region is hosted at The Bay School of San Francisco, located at 35 Keyes Ave, in the Presidio of San Francisco.

Dates and themes

January 26, February 23, March 23, and April 13.

The monthly themes will follow the lifecycle of a typical project, with January focused on Ideation, February on Prototyping and Documentation, March on Fabrication, and April on exhibition. Meeting schedule

The schedule for each monthly meeting is

10am-11:30 Skills building workshop. Workshops offer an opportunity to build skills and confidence in various aspects of making in general, and project planning, design, execution, and exhibition in particular.
11:30-noon Lunch. Be sure to bring a sack lunch and water to eat.
noon-1pm Plussing session. Plussing sessions are an opportunity to share you in-progress project with other project teams.
1pm-2pm Featured Maker talks, followed by discussion. Each month we’ll have a few accomplished makers on hand to talk about some of their projects, how they got started making, and what they’ve learned along the way. The topics will roughly follow the monthly themes.

Registration

To register for the program, fill out one season ticket form for each attendee by visiting
Registration form and selecting The Bay School as your hub.

You’ll notice there are three kinds of tickets: one for adults, one for teens (ages 13-17), and one for youth (ages 8-12). It will help us plan if you register each participant in your group according to their age.

You only need to register once per persion per season. Be sure to bring a printout of your season ticket with you each month.
