Clubs with Makers exist in schools, community centers, and in neighborhoods. Some are open to new members, and others are only for the youth who are already part of the institution that hosts the club. To add your group to the directory, please fill out our Affiliated Clubs Application.

Tech Teens and Young Makers

Crossville, Tennessee
Contact: Paige Almonrode

I am a homeschool mom of three and a teen library volunteer at Art Circle Public Library in Crossville, TN. Last year I attended the Kingsport, Nashville, and Orlando Mini Maker Faires. The Tech Teens and Young Makers group that I lead is attended by ages 11-17. We have experimented with MakeyMakey, Arduino, Pi, and soldering. We were meeting in the library but have acquired a workshop space. We are starting a hovercraft build this month to take to the Kingsport TN Mini Maker Faire in July. We are also working on organizing a group for the 2014 MakerCamp online.
